About Us
NO HATE in WA State includes nurses, mental health experts, teachers, domestic violence prevention groups, and many others including the WA State Nurses Association, Planned Parenthood, and the League of Women Voters who oppose two harmful 2026 ballot initiatives (IL-001 & IL-638) on this November’s ballot. These poorly written initiatives, bankrolled by a MAGA mega-donor, remove common sense protections for child abuse victims and put girls at greater risk of harm.
OUR MISSION
We are a statewide campaign of parents, medical professionals, teachers, students, and community members saying no to hate, bullying, and harassment in Washington State.
While Washington families are struggling to pay for food, housing, and health care, a MAGA mega-donor is spending millions to distract Washingtonians with two harmful initiatives (IL26-001, IL26-638). These poorly written initiatives will threaten the safety of all Washington students, putting them at greater risk of harm at home and at school.

Our Values
Washingtonians respect and care for each other. We may not always agree, but we work together to protect our children from hate, bullying, and harassment.
We believe every child should be free to be themselves, learn and grow, and feel safe at school.
Our schools should be safe, fair, respectful, and give every student their best chance to succeed. All students should be treated kindly, have their privacy protected, and be free from abuse. No group should be singled out for exclusion or discrimination in schools because of who they are, what they believe, or how they look.
Our Campaign
NO HATE in WA State’s leadership includes:
Together, we are working to uphold Washington’s belief in that everyone should be safe and treated fairly, and to ensure that schools remain places where all students can learn, grow, and thrive together.
