Tacoma City Council Unanimously Passes Resolution Opposing Ballot Initiatives I-638 and I-001 on November Ballot
At Tuesday’s regular council meeting, Tacoma City Councilmembers voted unanimously to approve a resolution opposing two MAGA-backed ballot measures before Washington’s voters on this November’s ballot. The resolution was introduced by Councilmember Olgy Diaz of South Tacoma. Tacoma is the first city to take a position against these ballot measures.

No Hate in WA State Campaign Kickoff Draws Crowd 400+ To defeat IL 26-001 and IL 26-638
Last night the No Hate in WA State officially kicked off the campaign season to a crowd of more than 400 people. The event, held at Neumos in Seattle, featured Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal, King County Executive Zahilay, Seattle City Councilmember Dionne Foster, and Jaelynn Scott, a national leader in the fight for race and gender equity and community organizer.
